I'm sure by now you've come across an Instagram influencer or advertisement pop up about this new Billie razor that's recently broke the internet with raving fans. The thought had crossed my mind numerous times..wait can I actually go longer in between shaves? No razor burn..what? NO WAY... smooth legs after a shave, unheard of in my world. Also I hate shaving- best thing about winter...if ya know, ya know 😉 But not only do I not like shaving, I also put the least amount of effort into making sure I had a decent razor. Finally, after hearing my mother-in-law rave about this razor and that she'd, 'never go back to any other razor,' I knew something was special about it and gave it a go.
Typically I have to shave a few times a week. Personally, I think my leg hair grows faster than normal... However, I've never been a fan of women's razors in general. I always thought they never got close enough of a shave and I always ended up with a cut each time I shaved and I blamed it on the fact I have 'thin skin' haha IDK where that theory came from. Before I tried Billie, I shared a pack of mens Gillette razors with my husband because they lasted longer, got a closer shave and weren't as expensive as the women's razor. But, I still had to shave a few times a week and most everyday in the underarm area.

The price is really great at only $9 for the starter kit and then an additional $9 for 4 replacement razor heads that will be delivered to your door at the frequency of your choice. That makes it $2.25 per cartridge?! Since every women's shaving experience is not a one size fits all I like how you can personalize the kit to your needs. When you go to buy your starter kit it walks you through a series of questions so you can get the best fit.
I no longer have problems with cutting myself and it continues to be the best shave everywhere! Overall, I’m very pleased with it. A huge thing I noticed is I don't get razor bumps with this razor. With previous razors I've used in the past I would end up with a lot of razor bumps and irritation on my thighs. In addition, I noticed that my tan applies a lot easier and more flawlessly!
Billie also has shaving cream that works with the razor to give you the best shave and super soft skin afterwards. Previously, I had just used conditioner as my shaving cream cause I thought it did the same thing as shaving creams, just more affordable. So I really loved using theirs alongside my razor.
The lotion is the bomb! It truly is the perfect weightless moisture because it gives a pretty glow to the skin but does not feel greasy or sticky one bit. The scent is light and refreshing!
Other things that stood out to me about Billie
You may have heard someone mention the hydrating 'goo' lol. The razor-blade is actually encased in charcoal shave soap to give a smooth shave, and I actually really like that about the razor! A tip that I use to help keep the lotiony part intact is to always leave the razor on the magnetic holder between uses. If you lay it down on the edge of your tub the goo can get a bit messier. Using the magnetic holder also looks really nice in your shower, so I suggest using it anyway!
The razor is overall very convenient. I can't tell you how many times I've gone to shave in the past and realized I needed a new razor but forgot to get a new one the last time I shaved. Since you set this up like a subscription, you don't need to worry about reordering which can I get an, amen!
It's safe to say...Billie is here to stay for good. Thankfully I've been able to say goodbye to razor burn and irritation when it comes to shaving. It is convenient and I love the brand mission behind the products. If you haven't tried Billie yet...what are you waiting for, friend!?
