WHERE TO STAY
This hotel is located right downtown in the heart of it all which is perfect for walking and getting a good feel of the city. It's very close to River Streets, Locus Theater and The Olde Pink House Restaurant. The rooms were super clean, they have excellent service and the hotel is beautiful. One of my personal favorite parts was the complementary breakfast they offer each morning. There is a beautiful little breakfast area with great food and a view of the street, so it's a great way to start your day! If I were to visit Savannah again I'd without a doubt stay here again! I highly recommend staying in the city as you'll get the full experience and ability to walk to most everything.
Where to Eat
This restaurant was one of the highlights of our trip! It is an absolute "must to". I have not experienced anything close to this in my life. The scenery, service, and food were just nothing short of amazing. There are 11 dining rooms that you could choose to eat in with each having a different vibe/look! Truly a one of a kind experience.

This is the place to go if you love seafood. It is right in front of the water and the food is great! The location is super convenient- near Tybee Island and the sunsets are stunning. Not to mention the staff was so nice which topped it off!

After a delicious dinner you'll want to head over to Leopold's Ice cream...this is the place to be for dessert. Everyone in town knows about this homemade ice cream and there is typically a long line out the door. It is worth every penny and your taste buds will thank you! It is definitely the BEST ice cream I've ever had!
What To Do
This is a one day unlimited hop on, hop off trolley tour of the historic Savannah. It is 100% real time so none of it is pre-recorded. It's great because it really gives you the lay of the land. When riding this trolley you'll have the ability to check out 15 different popular spots around this area. If you stay on the entire time through without hopping off it'll take about one and a half hours. However, we took the whole day to do this and stopped and took pictures at a lot of the points.
Forsyth Park
This is considered the "central park of Savannah," with walking paths that criss cross through 30 acres of beautiful scenery. This fountain is so stunning and a popular destination to take photos, there also are a number of monuments. This park is especially great for those who love to walk or run.

City Market
I loved walking the streets of the City Market! This is a four block open-air market with shopping, dining and art in restored warehouses. It's great to have lunch at too, as there are tons of places to eat among the shops.
Dolphin Cruise on Tybee Island
Want to actually see dolphins? This is a must!! We saw so many dolphins on this tour. They even assure you that if you don't see a dolphin you get a free tour the next time. The sunsets are just absolutely breathtaking.
Savannah River Street
If you're into quaint boutiques, pubs, lots of tourists and a beautiful view of the Savannah river you'll want to check out River Street! This is a great place to pick up a souvenir or t shirt. This is definitely a more bustling/busy feel compared to the quiet historic streets.
If you have a rainy afternoon or you love art you can stop by the Telfair museums. It is actually split up into three different buildings and it is the oldest public museum in the Southern United states. One ticket will get you access to all three Museum locations.
